Newly Adopted Bylaws & Policies
 


The District of Hudson’s Hope enacts local bylaws that are the similar to provincial and federal laws. The bylaws which are designed to make Hudson’s Hope an enjoyable, safe place to live and covers such topics as a noise, zoning, and animal control. In order for a bylaw to become law, it must go through three readings and approval.

Inside facts about Hudson's Hope
The District of Hudson's Hope Council meetings are held the second and fourth Monday's of each month at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers of the District Office, 9904 Dudley Drive.
 

Hudson’s Hope was originally known as Rocky Mountain Portage House, which was established by Simon Fraser in autumn of 1805.
